CMY colour gobo's:
These gobo's consist of borosilicate
glass 0.5-0.6mm with a dichroic coating of Cyan, Magenta or
Yellow and photoresist.
The material is available in three
versions:
1)
No
photoresist
2) The
photoresist is deposited immediately upon the dichroic
coating,
and can be patterned at good resolution, approx 20µm.
3) The
photoresist is deposited on an intermediate chrome layer,
which allows patterning at high resolution, down to 10µm
The dichroic coating itself is etchable
to high resolution and has excellent temperature stability.
The colour drift is limited to +12nm @620nm for magenta at
300°C.
Three etched CMY color gobo's can be
assembled on a forward or reverse black gobo to form a high
resolution CMYK system. This can be done by either glueing
the CMY gobo’s on a larger K-gobo, or by glueing the CMY
gobo’s on a same-size K-part and then put the whole assembly
into a ring.
These CMY gobo's can either be assembled
on a forward black gobo (dichroic to the lens) or on a
reverse black gobo (dichroic to the lamp)

transmission when cascaded.

stress dichroic film - compatible with hot and demanding
lighting equipment.

Glass thickness
is low enough to cut down reflections and allow good
focussing capabilities.
- Best
tradeoff between etchability and temperature stability :
approx 12nm cutoff
wavelength shift @ 300°C for magenta at 620nm, meaning a near
invisible colour shift
on the hottest projectors.

CMY gobo’s are offered in these standard
sizes: 21mm, 25mm, 34mm, 40mm, 48mm, 64mm, 80mm.
Eg : 34mm CMY gobo’s can be glued onto a
37.5mm K-part, or 34mm CMY gobo’s can be combined with a
34mm K-part and then mounted together in a 34mm->37.5mm
ring.
